About the race
Deal Trick or Trot is a community running and walking event held at Deal Casino in Deal, New Jersey, presented by Deal Fire Company No. 2 and the Jersey Shore Running Club. The event features a new course this year and a flat 5 km run/walk course.
The program includes the following events:
- 5 km run/walk, registration fee $30
- Pet walk, registration fee $20
- Kids races, ages toddler to 12 years, registration fee $15
Race day packet pickup is available at Deal Casino. Parking is restricted to the north parking lot; the south lot is reserved for emergency personnel and the finish chute. Post-race barbecue and refreshments are available at the finish area. The event includes costume contests for people and pets and age-group awards. Net proceeds benefit Deal Fire Company and dogs being cared for by Shore Saves. Shirts are provided to all pre-registered runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
