JSRC Deal Trick or Trot
JSRC Deal Trick or Trot is presented by Deal Fire Company No. 2 and the Jersey Shore Running Club at Deal Casino, 125 Ocean Avenue, Deal, NJ 07723, USA. The event includes multiple running and walking activities on and near the casino grounds.
The event features these distances and formats:
- 4 Mile Race - 4 miles, road race.
- Harry Drazin 4 Mile Memorial Race Walk - 4 miles, competitive race walk with technique monitored.
- Pet Walk - walking route on Deal Casino grounds and adjoining neighborhood.
- Kids Races - toddler to 12 years, age-group dashes on the open field.
Registration opens July 31, 2026. Closing dates vary by event; the 4 mile events have earlier closing dates than the Pet Walk and Kids Races. Published registration fees are $30 for the 4 mile race and race walk, $20 for the Pet Walk, and $15 for Kids Races.
On-site details include race day packet pickup at Deal Casino, parking restricted to the north lot with the south lot reserved for emergency personnel and the finish chute, and post-event barbecue and refreshments at the finish area. The first 300 registered participants receive custom bib boards and an embroidered winter pom beanie. Net proceeds benefit Deal Fire Company and lost and abandoned dogs cared for by Shore Saves.
