Jr Mustangs Blitz and Bow 5K : Dundee, NY
The Penn Yan Jr Mustangs Football and Cheerleading organization is hosting its second annual 5K run as a fundraiser on August 16, 2026, at the American Legion in Dundee, New York. The event includes a general 5K and a separate Kids 5K for children ages 5 and up; children under 5 or those in strollers do not need to register.
Registration opens May 20, 2026 and closes August 15, 2026. The standard registration fee for the 5K is $25.00, and the youth fee for the Kids 5K is $15.00. The youth program serves athletes from Penn Yan and Dundee: football for Kindergarten through 6th grade and cheer for Kindergarten through 8th grade. For the current season the organization fields three football teams and four cheer teams.
The program is volunteer run and proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to provide new uniforms and safety equipment for participating athletes.
