Jr Mustangs Blitz and Bow 5K
The Penn Yan Jr Mustangs Football and Cheerleading hosts its 2nd annual 5K run fundraiser on August 16, 2026, at the American Legion in Dundee, New York (10 Spring St., Dundee, NY 14837). The event includes a community 5K and a youth 5K for children ages 5 and up. Children under 5 or those in a stroller do not need to register.
Registration opens May 20, 2026 and closes August 15, 2026. The registration fees listed are $25 for the main 5K and $15 for the kids 5K. The youth organization serves athletes from Penn Yan and Dundee in grades Kindergarten through 6 for football and Kindergarten through 8 for cheer. This season the program fields three football teams and four cheer teams.
The program is volunteer run and funds raised by the event will be used to provide new uniforms and safety equipment for the youth teams.
