Event Details
The Johnson City Jingle Jaunt is a running event featuring a 5K race and a shorter Kid’s K. It is an official event of Johnson City’s Lights Spectacular holiday lights display. The event is described as family-friendly.
Course and Location
The race starts and finishes near Johnson City Park at the intersection of Avenue G and Main Street. The course runs through the streets of Johnson City and is described as flat and scenic. One aid station with water and sports drink will be located at approximately the halfway point. A course map is noted as coming soon. Strollers are welcome on the course.
Registration and Pricing
Registration is available online. Pricing for the 5K increases over time: $40 through November 19, $45 through December 5, and $50 after that. Pricing for the Kid’s K is $25 through November 19, $30 through December 5, and $35 after that.
Participant Perks
All participants receive a custom finisher medal. 5K participants receive a race t-shirt available in ladies, unisex, and youth sizes. A free beer is offered with proper ID. Free high-resolution race photos are available for download after the event. Food vendors will be present for post-run purchases. A holiday costume contest is held with prizes.
Schedule and Logistics
Packet pickup is available on race day from 6:30 AM to 8 AM at the Memorial Park Gazebo. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the courthouse and in the surrounding downtown area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
