Johnson City Jingle Jaunt 5K and Kid’s K : December 19, 2026
The Johnson City Jingle Jaunt is a community road race held in Johnson City, Texas, and is an official event of Johnson City’s Lights Spectacular. The event starts and finishes at Johnson City Park near the historic Blanco County Courthouse, running a flat, fast and scenic route through the festive streets of the town.

- 5K race through downtown Johnson City.
- Kid’s K course for children.
Participants in the 5K receive a race T shirt in ladies, unisex and youth sizes. All participants receive a custom finisher medal and free high resolution race photos available for download after the race. A complimentary Pecan Street Screw Loose Blonde beer is offered to eligible participants with proper ID. Food vendors will be on site and strollers are welcome.
The course includes one aid station approximately at the halfway point with water and sports drink served by volunteers. Awards for the 5K include top male and female overall and master 40 and up, plus top three male and female in standard age groups from 19 & under through 70 and up. Kid’s K awards include the top three boys and girls and all children receive finisher medals.
Packet pickup is available race day at Memorial Park Gazebo, 105 E Main Street, Johnson City, TX 78636. Parking is available first come first serve at the courthouse and around the downtown area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
