Johnson City Jingle Jaunt 5K and Kid’s K
The Johnson City Jingle Jaunt is a morning running event held in Johnson City, Texas, and is an official event of Johnson City’s Lights Spectacular. The race starts and finishes at Johnson City Park near the historic Blanco County Courthouse and follows a flat, scenic 5K route through downtown streets. A shorter Kid’s K is offered for younger participants.

Amenities for registered participants include a race T shirt (5K) available in ladies, unisex, and youth sizes, a custom finisher medal for all participants, and free high-resolution race photos posted online after the event. One aid station will be located at approximately the halfway point, offering water and sports drink. Food vendors will be on site, and strollers are welcome. The event lists a free Pecan Street Screw Loose Blonde beer for those with proper ID and names an official beer sponsor.
Awards for the 5K include top male and female overall and master (40 and up), plus top three male and female in the age groups 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up. Kid’s K awards go to the top three boys and girls, and all kids receive a finisher medal.
Packet pickup is available at Memorial Park Gazebo, 105 E Main Street, Johnson City, TX. Parking is provided on a first-come, first-served basis at the courthouse and around downtown.
