Johnson City Jingle Jaunt 5K and Kid's K
The Johnson City Jingle Jaunt is a community road event held in Johnson City, Texas and presented as an official event of Johnson City Lights Spectacular. The race starts and finishes near Johnson City Park by the Blanco County Courthouse and runs a flat, scenic 5K through the festive streets of the Hill Country town. A shorter Kid's K is offered for younger participants.

Event amenities include a race T shirt (5K sizes: ladies, unisex, youth), a custom finisher medal for all participants, free high resolution race photos after the event, and food vendors on site. Adults with proper identification receive a complimentary Pecan Street Screw Loose Blonde beer. Jingle bells are provided and a holiday costume contest is included.
On-course support and logistics note one aid station located at approximately the halfway point with volunteers serving water and sports drink. Strollers are permitted on the course. Packet pickup is available on race day at Memorial Park Gazebo, 105 E Main Street, Johnson City, TX 78636. Parking is available first come first serve at the courthouse and in other downtown locations.
The 5K awards top male and female overall and master, plus top three in standard age groups; the Kid's K awards the top three boys and girls and all kids receive a finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
