Turkey Trot at Horseshoe Bay Resort
The 30th Annual Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Horseshoe Bay Resort in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. The event features multiple run and walk options, family-friendly activities, and an awards presentation. A portion of registration fees supports the local community.

Advance race packet pick-up is available at the Whitewater Putting Hut between November 23 and November 25; race day packet pick-up and check-in occur at the Hotel Conference Center. Medals are awarded to top male and female runners in age divisions and to top finishers in the Tot Trot. An awards presentation follows the races.
Additional on-site activities include the Rock the Flock pet parade with categories for Best Pet Costume, Crowd Favorite, Tiniest Pet, and Biggest Pet. Event policies state dogs must be on short, non-retractable leashes and owners must clean up after their pets. Strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs are permitted on the 5K Walk route; bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, and scooters are not allowed. The event is held rain or shine and registrations are nonrefundable.
