This is a Southeast League mountain running event in County Carlow held on Sunday 16th August 2026. The main course is approximately 9.00 km with about 500 m of climb. A shorter course of 5.00 km is also provided.

The route is marked only at major junctions. GPS devices are allowed. The event has a difficulty rating of 8 (2,3,3) and is described as moderate terrain with over 500 m of ascent. Mandatory Level B kit is required and must be brought to the race; items listed for Level B include a waterproof jacket, a hat or buff, gloves, a whistle, a charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or bivvy bag. The kit to be carried during the race may be finalised on the day and will be advised at registration. Random checks may be carried out and failure to have the required items may result in denied entry or disqualification.
Entries open on Monday 3rd August 2026 and close on Friday 7th August 2026. Entry fees are €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. The event uses a carpark signposted Deerpark near the Deerpark Mountain Biking and Hiking Trails for registration and access to the start.
