Outrun Hunger 2026 : Carlow
Outrun Hunger 2026 is a charity running event in Carlow raising funds for St Clare’s hospitality Kitchen. The event takes place at Carlow Rugby Club in Oak Park and features new improved routes in Oak Park for 2026.
Available distances:
- 5 km race and fun run/walk
- 10 km race (entry restricted to over 18s)
Entry includes a commemorative medal and a performance t-shirt for participants who complete the race. Registrations note that medals are only provided on completion of the race and registering by October 3rd guarantees a t-shirt in the requested size. There is an optional race number and t-shirt delivery service for €6, and a 7% Eventmaster booking fee is applied to entries.
Additional event services and rules include chip timing provided by Pop-Up Races, a bag drop at the Rugby Club if required, and a water station at the start and finish offering pre-filled reusable bottles to support sustainability. For safety, under 18s in the 5 km must be accompanied by an adult at all times; the 10 km is strictly for adults over 18.
Proceeds from the event are used to provide services of St Clare’s in Carlow. Refreshments and prize giving are scheduled to follow the races at Carlow Rugby Club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
