42nd Annual John Boyle Thanksgiving 10 Mile, 5k & Kids Dash
The event takes place in Deland, Florida at the Sperling Sports Complex on November 26, 2026. It includes road race distances for adults as well as a short kids dash.

- 400 meters Kids Dash free for children 8 and under
Early registration fees are listed for the 10 mile and 5K; the 10 mile has a listed early fee of $44 before 9/30 and the 5K has a listed early fee of $33 before 9/30. The kids dash is free and includes a finisher medal but not a shirt. There is a special free 10 mile entry available for runners aged 70 and over.
Amenities include event T‑shirts, post race refreshments, a race DJ, and finisher medals for 10 mile and 5K participants. Awards are given to top overall and masters finishers and to competitors in age group categories for both the 10 mile and the 5K.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before in downtown DeLand and there is race day pickup at the Sperling Sports Complex. Course maps are provided for the 5K and the 10 mile. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
