Jingle Bell Run - Southbourne Beach
The Jingle Bell Run is a Christmas-themed children's 3K along the promenade at Southbourne Beach, Bournemouth, Dorset. All children receive a medal, a "Jingle Bell" Christmas tree decoration and a sweet treat. Festive-themed dress is encouraged and there will be games and activities on the day.
The route is flat and tarmacked and is an out-and-back course. Adults may run with children, and children may turn back before completing the full distance if required. There will be no official results for this event because not all participants are expected to complete the whole course.
The event is licensed by the TRA and will be run under UKA rules. A standard entry price is listed as 11.00 GBP. The start and finish are at Southbourne Beach.
Where possible participants are encouraged to use public transport or car share. Paid and on-street parking is available near the start and finish; the nearest carpark is Warren Edge.
