Jingle Bell Run
The Jingle Bell Run is a Christmas-themed children's 3K held along the promenade at Southbourne Beach, Bournemouth, Dorset on 12 December 2026. The route is flat and tarmacked and follows an out-and-back layout, so children may turn around before completing the full distance if they wish. Adults may run with children.
All children receive a medal, a "Jingle Bell" Christmas tree decoration and a sweet treat. Festive-themed dress is encouraged, with examples such as a Santa suit, Grinch hat, Christmas fairy or donkey costume noted. On-site activities include games, festive music, face painting for junior runners and the opportunity to decorate race bibs. Santa and helpers are present during the event.
The event is licensed by the TRA and will be run under UKA rules. Because some participants may not complete the full course, there will be no official results for this run.
