The Winter SOLEstice 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Wilmington, Massachusetts. The event is organized by the Sole Sisters Running Club and uses a USATF certified 5K course. Walkers and strollers are welcome; the organizers ask those walking with young children to start behind runners and other walkers. Race swag is guaranteed for the first 200 registrants. Logistics, pricing and awards
Registration and pricing tiers are listed as follows: an early bird rate of $35 before November 1, 2025 (includes race bib and post-race food/refreshments), regular pricing of $40 through December 10, 2025, race day pricing of $45, and youth pricing of $25 for children 12 and under (available through and on race day). Online registration closes at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Race bib and swag pickup is scheduled for Friday, December 12 at the 4th of July Building (142 Middlesex Avenue, Wilmington, MA). Race day bib pickup and on-site registration are available in the Wilmington High School lobby (159 Church St) via the main entrance on Church Street.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the male, female, and non-binary categories, plus top male and female age-group winners in these brackets: 12 and under; 13-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
