Location and logistics

The event location is Quannapowitt Parkway, 100 Quannapowitt Parkway, Wakefield, MA 01880. Early bib pickup is available at Marathon Sports, 668 Main Street, Reading, on Thursday, December 18 and Friday, December 19 from 5:00-7:00pm. The first 200 registrations for the 5k will receive a shirt.

Entry fees and eligibility

The 5k entry fee is $35, with a reduced rate of $25 for ages 0-18. The Kid's Fun Run has no entry fee and is open to children aged 10 and under.

Charitable purpose

All proceeds are allocated as scholarships for local high school seniors. Since 2022 the event has awarded fourteen $1,000 scholarships to seniors from Wakefield, Woburn, Reading, and Stoneham. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
