Jingle Bear 5K
Jingle Bear 5K is a holiday fun run held during White Bear Lake Winterfest at West Park / Memorial Beach, 4958 Lake Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN. The event welcomes runners, walkers, families, strollers, and leashed dogs and takes place on a lakeside course. Registration includes jingle bells for shoes and a finisher medal; age-group awards and overall awards are presented after the race. Top overall male and female athletes receive awards and are not eligible for age-group awards. Age-group ribbons are provided to the top three in each age group when race volume allows.
Packet pick-up is held on race day at Memorial Beach and includes the race bib, timing chip, jingle bells, and any selected shirt. Women's shirts are fitted and run small; men's shirts are generously sized. Registrations made within two weeks of the event may receive shirts by mail after the race and requested sizes are not guaranteed.
Other event features include free professional photography, readily available parking near the course, donuts and cupcakes at the finish, and hot coffee and hot cider. Course maps and race results are provided online. A kids .5 mile fun run is offered in addition to the 5K distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
