Jingle Bear 5K
Jingle Bear 5K is a holiday fun run held during White Bear Lake Winterfest at West Park / Memorial Beach, 4958 Lake Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN. The event invites runners and walkers to dress festively and provides jingle bells for participants' shoes. The course is described as flat and family friendly. Participants receive a custom finisher medal and free professional race photography. Strollers and leashed dogs are encouraged.
The event offers organized race packet pick-up on race day at Memorial Beach; packets include race bib, timing chip, jingle bells, and items such as the finisher medal and shirt if a shirt option was selected. Postrace amenities include donuts and cupcakes from Blue Sky Bakery and hot coffee and hot cider. Easy, free parking is available close to the course. Awards include top overall male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in age groups; five year age groups are used if registration volume allows, otherwise ten year groups may be used. Winners must be present to collect awards; shipping costs are the recipient's responsibility.
