Event overview
The Jingle 5K is a holiday-themed evening 5K run/walk held in Lakewood Ranch, Florida on December 12, 2025. The course is 3.1 miles and features ambient street and portable lighting, snow machines, and holiday music. Race options and awards
Distances offered:
- 5K Run/Walk (timed, chip-timed bib)
- Virtual 5K (untimed, digital bib)
- Kids Dash (age-bracketed sprints for 12 and under)
All 5K participants receive a finisher medal and commemorative shirt; shirt sizes are first come first serve. Virtual participants receive a digital bib and may upload their time by December 21 to receive a mailed shirt and medal; virtual entrants are not eligible for age-group awards. 5K awards include overall, masters, grand masters, and 1st-3rd in age groups from 12 and under through 80+. Awards must be picked up on race day; unclaimed awards not collected within two weeks will be forfeited.
Logistics, rules, and fees
Packet pickup is available on December 9 and 10 at specified locations in Bradenton and Sarasota, and on race day at Main Street at Lakewood Ranch. Children must be at least 5 years old to run the 5K; children 4 and under must remain in a stroller. Dogs and strollers are allowed but should start at the back of the start corral. The event benefits the Big Bill Foundation and the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Foundation. The organizer reserves the right to cancel for severe weather; refunds for weather cancellations are not issued. Registration cancellation requests must be received at least 14 days before race day and are subject to a $5 service fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
