Jesse Owens Memorial Run
Jesse Owens Memorial Run takes place on May 16, 2026 at Moulton Park & Recreation, 13550 Court St, Moulton, AL 35650.
The event includes these distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run for ages 0 to 10
Each participant receives a tee shirt. Awards are given in several categories. Top three finishers in each age group receive medals and overall winners receive trophies. Masters, Grand Masters and Sr Masters winners receive trophies.
For the 1 Mile event, all participants ages 0 to 6 receive a medal and the overall winner receives a trophy. For ages 7 to 10 the top three finishers receive medals and the overall winner receives a trophy.
Registration has a preregistration deadline with a fee of $25 and a late registration option on the event date for $30. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
