Event Overview
The First Priority Decatur event takes place in Decatur, Alabama, and serves as a benefit for campus ministries and students across Morgan, Lawrence, and Cullman counties. The race is hosted at Decatur Baptist Church, located on Danville Road SW. Participants can choose between two main distances:

- 1 Mile
The course features volunteers positioned at every turn to provide encouragement to those taking part in the run. Pre-registered participants who sign up by the specific deadline of March 30th, 2026, receive an event t-shirt.
Logistics and Participation
Registration for the event remains open until the day before the run for the 5K and several days prior for the 1 Mile distance. A scheduled packet pick-up is held at the venue on the day preceding the race. During this time, participants can collect their bibs, t-shirts, and runner bags containing items provided by local sponsors.
