Event overview
The Jersey City Road Runners (JCRR), in partnership with the City of Jersey City, stages the 4th Annual Jersey City Marathon & Half Marathon Marquee Experience at Newport on April 19, 2026. The event takes place in Jersey City, New Jersey, with the start area at Newport Parkway and Washington Boulevard. The course is USATF-certified and the race is USATF-sanctioned. It is designated as a 2027 Boston Marathon qualifying event.

Registration and policies
Registration pricing listed on the event page shows reduced prices before a late-period increase on December 31, 2025. The event does not offer refunds; deferred entry is available for a $25 fee through March 15, 2026. Transfers to another runner are allowed with an administration fee and a transfer deadline of April 15, 2026. Shirt and medal allocation depend on the timing of any race switch relative to the shirt ordering cutoff.
Accessibility and services
Wheelchair participants are limited to push-rim wheelchairs; hand-crank wheelchairs are not permitted. Wheelchairs may only run the half-marathon course and select wheelchair entrants will be subject to maximum pace restrictions enforced on course.
