Jarrow 10K & Junior Race, 18 October 2026
The Jarrow 10K and accompanying junior race take place at Monkton Athletics Track, Monkton Stadium, 54 Dene Terrace, Hebburn, Jarrow NE32 5NJ, United Kingdom. The event is organised by RunThrough in partnership with Jarrow and Hebburn Athletics Club.
The course is a fully measured, flat, road closed route that follows a two lap design and starts and finishes on the athletics track. Wide tarmac sections and clearly marked kilometres support steady pacing, and marshals are positioned around the route. The route returns to the stadium for the finish.
Entries include a unique themed medal for finishers, chip timed results, free race photos and post race goodies. Category prizes recognise top performances. An event village offers food and drink options and on course support is provided by a team of marshals.
The Jarrow 10K forms part of the Top Flight Race Series and attracts leading UK athletes while also including races for developing club runners and newcomers to the distance.
