Fort McClellan Credit Union Janney Furnace 5K 2026
The Fort McClellan Credit Union Janney Furnace 5K is a 5 kilometer road race held at Janney Furnace Park, 145 Janney Road, Ohatchee, AL 36271. The course is USATF certified and follows a rolling route past the historic Janney Furnace and through downtown Ohatchee. Proceeds benefit Friends of Janney Furnace and the Anniston Lions Local Sight Program.
Entry fee information is published as $25 for advance registration and $30 for race day registration. Race day registration is held at the Janney Furnace Museum, and pre-registration by October 1 guarantees a long sleeve tech shirt; after that shirts are available while supplies last.
Results will be chip timed using reusable shoe chips. Awards are planned for the top three male and female finishers overall and for the top three in each age category. Age categories include 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & over.
