Jail Break 5K
The Jail Break 5K takes place in downtown Crown Point, Indiana. Organized in partnership with the Old Sheriff's House Foundation, this autumn event features a flat course through the center of the city. The route follows the tree-lined Main Street, providing a scenic environment for participants.

The course starts in front of the historic Old Sheriff's House and Jail. This location is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is known for the 1934 escape of John Dillinger. The facility was historically considered one of the most secure jails in the state.
Participants who complete the registration by October 25 are guaranteed a race shirt, while those registering later receive them based on remaining availability. Every individual who completes the course receives a finisher medal to mark their achievement. After the event, participants have the opportunity to visit the various local restaurants and establishments located within the downtown Crown Point area.
