Día de los Muertos 5K Walk and Run - Highland
Adelante, Inc. organizes the third annual Día de los Muertos 5K Walk and Run at Wicker Memorial Park in Highland, IN on November 1, 2026. The event centers on cultural remembrance and community support, with proceeds funding scholarships for local Northwest Indiana college students. The timed 5K is professionally measured.
The event program includes community activities and cultural performances such as a Zumba warm-up, a live DJ, and Aztec ceremonial dancers. A Día de los Muertos costume and makeup contest will award prizes to the top three entries. Pets on leash are welcome.
