Lynette Tenaglia Memorial Run
The Lynette Tenaglia Memorial Run is a multi-day endurance event held at McCourtie Park in Somerset Township, Cement City, Michigan. Taking place from May 21 through May 24, 2026, the event is organized as a fundraiser with all proceeds donated to the Lynette’s Love Foundation. The event offers a wide variety of timed challenges and traditional distance races.
The course consists of a 6.5-mile loop featuring varied terrain. The surface composition is approximately 45% asphalt, 45% gravel, and 10% grass, with minimal elevation changes throughout. Only fully completed laps are counted toward a participant's total distance. A main aid station is situated at the start and finish area, providing food catered by a local vendor. Participants have access to live tracking during the event.
Available event categories include:
- 72-hour, 48-hour, and 24-hour timed races
- 100-mile and 50-mile ultramarathons
- Marathon and Half-Marathon
- 24-hour Ruck and 24-hour Relay for four-person teams
- 5K and 1-mile fun run
The venue supports extended stays with options for car camping and setup of personal tents for resting or sleeping. On-site facilities are provided for all participants. Every finisher receives a medal, while solo runners completing 100 miles or more earn a belt buckle. First-place finishers in their respective categories receive handmade awards.
