The Jackson Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Ella Sharp Park in Jackson, Michigan. The event marks its 21st year and is part of the 2025 ORS Race Series. Races are chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation with live results available during the event.

Registration, fees and shirts
Event prices listed in the entry information include standard fees of $30 for most in-person events, $15 for the virtual 5K, and $0 for the Kid's Fun Run. A seasonal pricing schedule is given: $20 (Jan 1-15), $25 (until Sep 30, guaranteed shirt), $30 (Oct 1-31, guaranteed shirt), $35 (Nov 1-26, limited shirts), and $40 (race day, no shirt guarantee). Tech-style shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by October 31, 2025.
Packet pick-up is scheduled on November 25 (2:00 PM - 7:00 PM), November 26 (12:30 PM - 4:30 PM), and on race day starting at 7:30 AM. Military and first responders receive a $5 discount. A student team program has a $15 student registration fee for K-12 grades.
Awards and policies
5K Run and 5K Walk earn ORS qualifying points. Overall awards are given to top male and female Open and Masters (40+) finishers in the 5K Run and Walk; age-group awards go to the top three in each group.
