Event overview
The Jackalope Jam is a multi-day timed running and rucking event held in Cat Spring, Texas at 7IL Ranch. The event offers several timed durations where participants record the greatest distance possible during their chosen time while running, walking, hiking, or rucking. Every participant receives a medal. Solo competitors who complete 100 kilometers or more receive a buckle. Ruck participants may receive bonus patches.

Course and services
The course is an out-and-back loop exactly 2 miles long (one mile out, one mile back) on a short-grass and gravel farm road. Only fully completed laps count toward distance. There is one main aid station at the start/finish area, with staffed food service for overnight participants. The venue allows course-side camping and open access during the event week. Participants may set up personal tents and support areas along the course.
Relay and registration notes
The 24-hour relay is an open format with exchanges allowed only in the designated exchange area after completed laps. Teams compete in all-male, all-female, or coed divisions (coed requires at least two female members). Team member adjustments are limited after registration closes.
