Jack Frost 5k Run & 1.5m Walk
The event takes place on Saturday, January 30, 2027 at the O’Reilly Catholic Student Center, 847 South Holland Avenue, Springfield, Missouri 65806.

Registration opens January 22, 2026. Most categories close January 29, 2027, while some student and group registrations remain open through January 30, 2027. The listed fee is $45 if payment is received by January 23; the fee increases to $50 after January 23. Student and group registration is listed at $25. Groups of ten or more are eligible for a special discount code.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, January 29, and packet pick-up plus registration are available on race day morning.
Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to first-place 5K finishers in each age group. The age groups are Under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and Over 69. An award ceremony is held immediately following the race.
All runners receive a finishing medal. The first 100 people to register receive a T-shirt; sizes are guaranteed only until January 4. All registrations are non-refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
