Turkey Scramble
The Turkey Scramble takes place in Ozark, Missouri, featuring a course that begins at the front of the Ozark Community Center (OC). The route travels around the OC toward the Ozark Vo-Tech parking lot before heading down to the Finley River Bridge. Participants follow a path alongside the Finley River to the OC Trail before returning to the start. The terrain is mostly level with a small slope at the finish and offers views of the river and the local business district.

The event is chip timed with the chip located on the back of the bib. A dedicated division for participants running with dogs is available, where pets must remain on a leash and start at the back of the pack. Strollers are also permitted on the course. All registered participants receive a t-shirt, and those completing the 5k distance receive a finisher medal.
The race proceeds benefit community programs such as the 417Running Christmas with a Cop program, Ozark Day with the Mayor and Ozark Police, and the 4C Sertoma adopt a kid for Christmas program. A costume contest is held during the event, and pre-race activities include refreshments and drawings for door prizes.
