Bridge to Bridge Run - Peoria, IL
The Bridge to Bridge Run is a 4 mile out and back road race held in Peoria and East Peoria on September 7, 2026. The start area is on the Rock Island Greenway Trail across Water Street from RC Outfitters at 311 SW Water St, Peoria, IL. The course crosses the Illinois River on the Bob Michel Bridge pedestrian path and follows the Riverfront Trail along the river before reaching a turnaround at the motel parking lot near the Bass Pro area.
Water stops are provided near the mile 1 and mile 3 markers, at the mile 2 turnaround, and at the start and finish area. Packet pickup is available the Saturday before the race at RC Outfitters and also on race day at the same location. Race shirts for 2026 are available through August 20.
Prizes include overall awards for top male and female finishers, age group awards by net time for multiple age divisions, and a range of door prize gift certificates and baskets with a total value of over $1,000. First place male and female runners receive $100 gift certificates from RC Outfitters. The post race celebration and awards take place at CEFCU Center Stage near the Peoria Riverfront Museum, with hot food provided by Olive Garden and live music.
