Bridge to Bridge Run
The Bridge to Bridge Run is a 4 mile road and trail event in Peoria, Illinois on September 7, 2026. The race course begins on the Rock Island Greenway Trail across Water Street from RC Outfitters at 311 SW Water St, runs south on the Greenway, and crosses the Illinois River on the Bob Michel Bridge pedestrian path into East Peoria. After crossing Camp Street the route follows the Riverfront Trail under I74, passes the rear of Bass Pro, and reaches a turnaround at a motel parking lot near the 2 mile mark before retracing back to the start.
Water stops are located near the 1 and 3 mile markers, at the 2 mile turnaround, and at the start finish area. Packet pickup and race shirts are distributed at RC Outfitters on the weekend and on race day; unclaimed packets and shirts are not mailed after the event. A race shirt is available through August 20.
The post race celebration and awards take place at the CEFCU Center Stage on the Peoria riverfront. Hot food is provided by the Olive Garden Italian Kitchen and beverages include soft drinks, water, Gatorade, and beer. Live music is part of the post race activities. Overall and age group awards are presented and door prize drawings have a reported value over $1,000; recipients must be present to win.
