Event details
The Bridge to Bridge Run is a four-mile road and trail race on September 7, 2026, in Peoria, Illinois. The event is based at RC Outfitters, 311 SW Water St, Peoria. Timing and scoring are provided by ShaZam Racing. Packet pickup is available at RC Outfitters on the Saturday before the race and on race day; packets and race shirts must be picked up at packet pickup and will not be mailed after the event.
Course and event services
The course begins on the Rock Island Greenway Trail near RC Outfitters, follows the Greenway and city streets to the Bob Michel Bridge pedestrian path, crosses the Illinois River into East Peoria, then turns onto the Riverfront Trail and loops near the rear of the Bass Pro building. The two-mile mark and turnaround are at a motel parking lot; the route retraces back to the start/finish on the Rock Island Greenway Trail. Water stations are located near the 1-mile and 3-mile markers, at the 2-mile turnaround, and at the start/finish. A post-race celebration and awards presentation take place at the CEFCU Center Stage near the Peoria Riverfront Museum and Caterpillar Visitor Center. Hot food is provided by Olive Garden and a live band supplies music.
Prizes and awards
Overall awards include top male and top female prizes. Age-group awards are given for top three males and females in multiple age categories. Door prize raffles and gift-card awards are offered; winners must be present to receive door prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
