Event Overview
The Bridge to Bridge Run is a 4-mile race held in Peoria, Illinois. The event is scheduled for Monday, September 7, 2026. The race is timed and scored by ShaZam Racing.
Course and Location
The race starts on the Rock Island Greenway Trail, across Water Street from RC Outfitters at 311 SW Water St, Peoria. The route runs along the Rock Island Greenway Trail, crosses the Bob Michel Bridge pedestrian path over the Illinois River into East Peoria, and follows the Riverfront Trail. A turn-around point is located near a motel parking lot. The course is described as the flattest and fastest in the event's history. Water stops are available near mile markers 1, 2, and 3, and at the start/finish line.
Post-Race and Awards
A post-race celebration and awards ceremony is held at the CEFCU Center Stage at 200 N. Water St. The celebration includes hot food provided by Olive Garden, featuring pasta, breadsticks, and beverages. Music is provided by a live band. Awards include overall prizes for the top male and female finishers and age group awards. A bib number raffle with prizes is also held; participants must be present to win.
Registration and Logistics
Registration fees are tiered, increasing as the event date approaches. Packet pickup occurs at RC Outfitters on the Saturday before the race and on race morning. Race shirts must be picked up during packet pickup and will not be mailed. Discounts are available for Illinois Valley Striders (IVS) members and active military personnel.
