Bridge to Bridge Run
Bridge to Bridge Run is a four-mile road and trail race held on September 7, 2026, in Peoria, Illinois. The event is based at 311 SW Water St, across from RC Outfitters, and the advertised distance is 4 mile.
The course begins on the Rock Island Greenway Trail, heads south, then turns onto the Bob Michel Bridge pedestrian path to cross the Illinois River into East Peoria. After leaving the bridge the route follows sidewalks and the Riverfront Trail, passing under I-74 and around the rear of Bass Pro. The two-mile mark, a water stop, and the turnaround are located at the end of the Riverfront Trail at a motel parking lot. Runners then retrace the route back to the start/finish at the Rock Island Greenway Trail.
Water stops are placed near the one and three mile markers, at the two-mile turnaround, and at the start/finish line. Organizers describe the 2026 course as the flattest and fastest course in the event's history.
The post-race celebration and awards take place at CEFCU Center Stage, 200 N. Water St. Food provided by Olive Garden includes breadsticks and pasta with beverage options; a live band performs during the celebration. Overall awards include gift certificates for top finishers and age-group trophies; additional door prizes are announced at the awards ceremony.
