Bridge to Bridge Run

Bridge to Bridge Run is a 4 mile race held in Peoria, Illinois on September 7, 2026. The course starts near RC Outfitters at 311 SW Water St and crosses the Illinois River into East Peoria via the Bob Michel Bridge. The route follows the Rock Island Greenway Trail, turns onto the Bob Michel Bridge pedestrian path, continues onto the Riverfront Trail along the river and around the rear of Bass Pro, reaches a turnaround at the two mile mark near a motel parking lot, and then retraces back to the start.

Water stops are located near the one mile and three mile markers, at the two mile turnaround, and at the start and finish area. Organizers describe the 2026 layout as the flattest and fastest course in the event history.

A post race celebration and awards ceremony take place at the CEFCU Center Stage near the Peoria Riverfront Museum and Caterpillar Visitor Center. Food is provided by Olive Garden with soft drinks, water, Gatorade, and beer. Music is provided by a live band. Door prize winners must be present to collect prizes.

Prizes include overall awards for top male and top female, age group awards with engraved trophies for top finishers, and a variety of gift certificate door prizes. Packet pickup is available at RC Outfitters on the weekend before the race and on race day.
