Der Bier Lauf Peoria Oktoberfest 5K
Der Bier Lauf is a German themed run and walk held on the Peoria Riverfront Oktoberfest fairgrounds at 200 Northeast Water Street in Peoria, Illinois on September 20, 2026. The event supports CWTC and takes place alongside the Oktoberfest festival.

Race registration includes two drink tokens, Sunday entry to Oktoberfest, and a race packet. Packet pickup is available at RC Outfitters and at the Gateway Building, and packet pickup may be performed for friends or family.
Timing and scoring are provided by ShaZam Racing. The event is presented by the Peoria Park District and the Peoria German American Society. Awards are handed out by gun time for overall winners and masters: top one male and top one female overall, plus top one male and top one female masters aged 40 and over. Age group awards are given to the top three males and top three females in the following groups: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
