Island Running Festival : Alameda Point
The Island Running Festival is a community running event with start and finish on Alameda Point, directly outside City Hall West. The festival includes multiple chip-timed races that follow mostly single-loop courses along shoreline drive and recently opened trails around Alameda Point. The half marathon course returns to a single loop with a long out-and-back section along the shoreline and is described by the organizer as flat and fast.
