Lake Forest Chamber Elf Yourself 5K
The annual Elf Yourself 5K takes place in Lake Forest Sports Park on November 21, 2026. The event is a timed 5K run/walk covering 3.1 miles on a flat course made of two and a half loops entirely within the park. The course is marked with colored arrows (one color per lap) and will have pacers for each wave; a lead cyclist will accompany the fastest runners.
The event is family oriented: strollers and pets are welcome. The timed format uses four waves labeled for different paces and participants, including a wave for walkers, strollers, and pets. Every participant receives a finishers medal; awards are given to the top three males and females in age groups plus overall top male and female.
A post-race expo includes local restaurant samples, vendors, fitness demonstrations, ongoing raffles, and a Kid’s Zone with games, crafts, bounce houses, and photos with Santa. There is a pet parade with awards for best dressed pets and other pet-focused activities.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at Spectrum Specialties & Awards/The Lake Forest Chamber Office at 26239 Enterprise Court, Lake Forest, CA; bring a signed waiver and ID.
