IRONMAN 70.3 Michigan is held in Frankfort, Michigan on the shores of Lake Michigan. The event takes place in a small resort-like town and follows the lakeshore with views from the pier and nearby beaches.
The swim start and finish are both located next to the transition area on Betsie Bay. The bike course traverses historic highway M-22 and surrounding roads in Benzie County.
