Inside Out Club Fall Family 5K
Inside Out Club hosts a family oriented 5K at Danada Forest Preserve in Wheaton, IL on September 27, 2026. The event supports Inside Out Club programs that teach kindness and empathy, help teens build social confidence, inspire community action, and promote mental well being for youth.
Registration options include individual entries and teams of four or more. Families, friends, classmates, and coworkers are listed as typical team types. Children ages 4 and up may register; babies and toddlers may join for free in strollers. A short kids fun run with prize bags is scheduled after the main event. Race shirts are only guaranteed for participants who register by September 13 as part of the organizer's environmental approach.

Packet pick up is planned the day before at Naperville Running Company in downtown Naperville. The start and finish are at Danada Forest Preserve, 3S580 Naperville Road, Wheaton, IL. There is parking on both sides of Naperville Road and participants are asked to park in the west lot unless volunteers direct otherwise.
Scoring for team awards counts the top four places within a team across age and gender divisions; the lowest score wins. Individual overall and age group awards will be given and multiple Random Acts of Kindness prizes will be awarded. The event is held rain or shine and no refunds are issued.
