Inside Out Club Fall Family 5K
The Inside Out Club Fall Family 5K is a community run/walk held at Danada Forest Preserve, 3S580 Naperville Road, Wheaton, IL, on September 27, 2026. The event supports Inside Out Club programs that teach youth kindness and empathy, build social confidence for teens, inspire community action, and promote mental well-being.
Race entries include categories for children and adults. Kids ages 4 and up may register; babies and toddlers may participate free in strollers or carriers. A short kids fun run with prize bags follows the main event. Race shirts are only guaranteed for registrations completed by September 13.
Teams may be formed with four or more members; suggested team types include families, friends, classmates, and coworkers. Team scoring assigns one point per place within gender divisions, with the top four scores on a team counting toward the total; the lowest score wins. Awards are given to the top team, the team with the most spirit, overall male and female finishers, first place in each age group division, and multiple Random Acts of Kindness prizes.
Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the event at Naperville Running Company in downtown Naperville. The event is held rain or shine and has a no-refund policy for any reason. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
