Innsbrook Triathlon
The Innsbrook Triathlon is scheduled for June 12, 2027 at Lionshead Beach on Lake Aspen within Innsbrook Resort in Missouri. The event offers multiple race formats including sprint and Olympic distances, aquabike, high school and relay divisions. For safety reasons some bike courses are slightly longer than standard distances; course maps are provided.
Race distances include:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim / 22k bike / 5k run
- Sprint Aquabike: 750m swim / 22k bike
- Sprint High School: 750m swim / 22k bike / 5k run
- Sprint Relay: 750m swim / 22k bike / 5k run
- Olympic Triathlon: 1 mile swim / 43k bike / 10k run
- Olympic Aquabike: 1 mile swim / 43k bike
- Olympic Relay: 1 mile swim / 43k bike / 10k run
The swim begins from a sandy beach start on Lake Aspen. The bike course travels gentle rolling hills around the resort. The run follows a mixed surface route with sections of gravel and pavement. Packet pickup takes place the day before the race at Granada Cyclery in Saint Peters; athletes must show photo identification and will receive items including a wristband, bike and helmet stickers, a race bib to wear on the run, and a timing chip to wear on the left ankle.
The event is USAT sanctioned and requires either an annual membership or a one-day pass. Race management may remove athletes from the course if officials determine a participant cannot finish before posted cutoffs. Registration includes a race shirt, swim cap, finisher medal, live results, race photos, awards for top finishers and a post-race party with food, drinks and vendors.
