The Next Loop - Indian Camp Creek 50 Mile Challenge
The Indian Camp Creek 50 Mile Challenge is a continuous trail race run on a scenic 3.1-mile loop through Indian Camp Creek. The event is part of The Next Loop Endurance Series and uses the same fully stocked Start/Finish aid station every lap, providing repeated access to fuel and crew logistics.
Participants complete 16 loops to cover the course distance, with trail distances noted to vary slightly from lap to lap. A firm 12-hour cutoff is applied to the 50-mile distance, placing emphasis on steady pacing, energy management, and consistent lap execution. Pacers are permitted later in the day.
Athletes may stage gear at their vehicles or in a designated athlete area near the aid station to simplify refueling and equipment access between loops. The event highlights repeatable logistics and a single, central aid point that participants pass on every circuit, allowing for an incremental, lap-by-lap strategy.
