INDURO Hybrid Race #1 - Fort Wayne
INDURO Hybrid Race #1 takes place at the Indiana Tech Indoor Track in Fort Wayne, IN. This event is the second year of the organizer's hybrid series for the 2026/27 season, with indoor races held on 200 meter tracks during winter and spring and outdoor races on 400 meter tracks in summer.
Participants compete either as an individual or as a two-person team, with same or mixed gender team options. The format offers two distance options:
- Long : runs of 800 m
- Short : runs of 400 m
The competition alternates runs with strength and conditioning stations in the following sequence: run, sled push (50 m), run, sled pull (50 m), run, ski erg (1000 m), run, row erg (1000 m), run, round sandbag carry (200 m), run, sandbag lunges (100 m), run, burpee broad jumps (100 m), run, farmers carry (200 m), and a final run. There are multiple run segments using the chosen long or short distance for each run.
Four weight levels are specified for both male and female athletes. Each level sets weights for sled push, sled pull, round sandbag, sandbag lunge, and farmers carry. The event provides race T-shirts, a finisher medal, and overall awards. Participants register for a time block and receive confirmation about their assigned wave.
