Event Details
The Induro Hybrid Race #7 is a distance-based hybrid racing event. It takes place indoors at the Indiana Tech Indoor Track Facility (Doug Edgar Indoor Track) in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Race Format
Participants choose between two distances and four weight levels, competing as individuals or in teams.
- Short Distance: 9 runs of 400 meters plus 8 infield stations.
- Long Distance: 9 runs of 800 meters plus 8 infield stations.
The race sequence alternates running segments with various strength and endurance stations on the infield. The stations include:
- Sled push
- Sled pull
- Ski erg
- Row erg
- Sandbag carry
- Sandbag lunge
- Burpee broad jumps
- Farmers carry
Weight levels define the load for the stations, ranging from Level 1 (light) to Level 4 (heavy).
Logistics
The event offers wave starts throughout the day, with a morning block and an afternoon block. Packet pickup is available the day before the race and on race day at the track facility. The event is chip-timed, with results posted live. All participants receive a race t-shirt, and finishers get a medal. Awards are given for overall winners per gender, distance, weight category, and age group (under 40, 40-54, 55+). Parking is available on-site.
