Veterans Marathon and Half Marathon - Columbia City, IN
The Veterans Marathon and Half Marathon take place in Columbia City, Indiana on November 14, 2026. Both events start in downtown Columbia City, follow a route west through town and then loop through the countryside before returning to finish alongside the Whitley County Courthouse. The full marathon consists of two repeats of the same loop; the half marathon follows a single loop on the same route.
The event lists a set number of staffed aid stations with Culligan water and Gatorade, and GU gels available at specific markers. The marathon course includes 15 aid stations at multiple mile markers, while the half marathon includes 6 aid stations at several mile markers. Both courses hold USATF certification.
A six hour course limit is stated, with special consideration for an extended allowance up to seven hours with an early start. The event will donate a portion of profits to local veteran charities. Post-race provisions include hot soups and other refreshments and age group awards for the top two finishers in each age division.
