Winter Wonder Dash
Winter Wonder Dash is an annual Fort4Fitness event held in Franke Park that gives participants early pedestrian access to the holiday light displays created by Blue Jacket, Inc. The displays include more than 200 individual light scenes and are usually presented as a drive-through attraction; Fort4Fitness participants may walk or run through the lights before the drive-through opens to the public. The event dates for the listed edition are November 13 and 14, 2026.
The event offers in-person and virtual formats. On-site options include:
- 2K Family Walk, untimed family walk
- 5K Walk/Run, timed 5K with awards
The Start Line for the 2K and 5K is located in the parking lot of Pavilion #1. Virtual participants may complete a 2K or 5K at any time and place; virtual entries are not timed, do not receive a race bib, and may collect t-shirts and commemorative ornaments either during packet pick-up or by mail. The 5K awards recognize the top three overall male and female finishers in three categories: 14 and Under, Overall, and Masters (40+). There is no awards ceremony at the event; winners are notified by email and results are posted online.
