Winter Wonder Dash
Fort4Fitness organizes the Winter Wonder Dash at Franke Park. Blue Jacket, Inc. installs more than 200 light displays throughout the park, and Fort4Fitness participants have special access to walk or run through the displays before the drive-through event opens to the public. The event takes place on November 13 and 14, 2026.
Event formats include:
- 2K Family Walk - Non-timed, open-start; participants receive race bibs.
- 5K Walk/Run - Timed run/walk; start line at the Pavilion #1 parking lot.
- Virtual 2K and Virtual 5K - Complete at any time and place; not timed; t-shirt and commemorative ornament provided.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each of these categories: 14 and Under, Overall, and Masters (40+). There is no awards ceremony; winners are contacted by email and official results are posted online.
Additional event details include packet pick-up and volunteer opportunities. There is no gear check at the event. Parking options are provided via a parking map. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
