Winter Wonder Dash
Winter Wonder Dash is a seasonal event hosted by Fort4Fitness at Franke Park featuring holiday light displays organized by Blue Jacket, Inc. The displays include more than 200 illuminated installations and are available for participants to walk or run before the drive-through event opens to the public. The event spans two days in November 2026 with separate activities on each day.
The event offers multiple participation options:
- 2K Family Walk in Franke Park on November 13, 2026.
- 5K Walk/Run in Franke Park on November 14, 2026.
- Virtual 2K and 5K options that can be completed at any time and place.
The Start Line for both the 2K and 5K is located in the parking lot of Pavilion #1. The 5K is a timed walk/run with awards for top three overall male and female finishers in the categories 14 and Under, Overall, and Masters 40 and older. There will not be an on-site awards ceremony; winners are contacted by email and results are posted online.
Virtual participants do not receive timing or race bibs. Virtual registrants receive event t-shirts and commemorative Winter Wonder Dash ornaments by packet pick-up or mail, and proof of completion is not required. There is no gear check at the event.
