Fort4Fitness Winter Wonder Dash
The Winter Wonder Dash is a Fort4Fitness event held on November 13–14, 2026 at Franke Park, 3411 Sherman Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN. The event gives participants access to walk or run through the park’s holiday light displays before the public drive-through opens. The displays include more than 200 individual light features. Packet pick-up is available and the start line for the 2K and 5K is in the parking lot of Pavilion #1. There is no gear check at the event.
Events and distances
- 2K Family Walk - untimed, open start, open to ages 6 and older.
- 5K Run/Run-Walk - timed event with separate competitive and run/walk waves, open to ages 6 and older.
- Virtual 2K or 5K - completed at the participant’s chosen time and place; not timed; no race bib.
A free registration option is available for children age 5 and under.
Registration, awards and extras
In-person and virtual registration fees apply; the virtual option includes a t-shirt and a commemorative ornament. Virtual race items can be picked up during packet pick-up or mailed; mailings are scheduled for the week of November 18. The 5K awards go to the top three overall male and female finishers in three categories: 14 and Under, Overall, and Masters (40+). There will not be an on-site awards ceremony; winners are notified by email and results are posted online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
