The Indianapolis Aruna Run is a family-friendly 5k run/walk held at The Fowling Warehouse, 1125 E Brookside Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46202. The event supports the Aruna Project; 100% of registration fees go to programs that free, employ, and empower trafficked women. Fundraising progress listed $885.44 raised toward a $30,000 goal.
Packet pickup is offered in two locations on the Friday before the event and at the race. Free parking is available in the lot across Brookside Avenue; the event entrance is at Door D9 on the northeast end of the building, a short walk from parking.
Registered participants can attend an after party in the warehouse offering free fowling, free food, and a Kids Zone with a bounce house. Food and water are provided by named partners, and the raffle includes a $250 bouquet and gift card prizes. Race day results and live tracking are available through the RacePenguin Timing app.
Awards include a handmade Aruna Dopp Kit for the top female finisher, top male finisher, and top fundraiser, plus a $50 Aruna Shop gift card and a day pass to Ripple Boulder. Age-group awards are listed for several brackets. Event swag features an Aruna Beach Bag and a District Tri-Blend Tee in Army Green; registering by August 30 guarantees a race t-shirt and size.
