2026 Indianapolis Aruna Run
The Indianapolis Aruna Run is a fundraiser run and walk held in Indianapolis at The Fowling Warehouse on East Brookside Avenue. The event supports the Aruna Project, an international human rights nonprofit that works to create lifelong freedom for survivors of human trafficking. Proceeds fund Training Centers in Southeast Asia and Aruna's Freedom Business.
The event offers a 5K Run/Walk. Registration opens on June 1 and uses tiered pricing: early bird pricing is listed for Jun 1 to Jul 5 and a higher price tier runs Jul 6 to Sep 13; late registration is available Sep 14 to Sep 19. The event notes that 100% of registration fees go to support efforts to free, employ, and empower trafficked women. The fundraising goal for the event is $30,000 and the current raised amount is listed as $0.00.
Swag for the event includes an Aruna Beach Bag made by Aruna Artisans and a District Tri-Blend tee in Army Green. The t-shirt logo and beach bag buttons feature the names of ten trafficked women for whom participants will run and walk this year.
Team and fundraising incentives are provided: teams earn a $25 Aruna gift card for every ten people who join, and individuals earn a $25 gift card for every $250 they raise. Walkers are welcome. Dogs may not participate in the race but may cheer from the course sidelines. Strollers are allowed when started toward the back for participant safety. Race timing is provided by Race Penguin.
