Geist Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & 1 Mile
The Geist Half Marathon race series takes place in Fishers, Indiana on September 12, 2026. Operated by the City of Fishers in partnership with Vision Events Management, the event returns for its 18th year and centers on the Geist Reservoir area near 11300 Olio Road, Fishers IN 46037.
The race courses traverse waterfront bridges and tree covered pathways and offer water views and rolling hills around the reservoir. The series includes road and trail style distances for a range of participants, plus virtual options and youth events. All participants receive a race shirt, medal, timing bib, and access to the post race party with a complimentary drink option available in both non alcoholic and alcoholic varieties. VIP registration is available for an additional cost and lists reserved race day parking and signature swag among the perks. The event also lists team volunteer opportunities and a Hero Hut Breakfast as part of race day activities. Sponsorship opportunities are offered for the 2026 event.
