Event overview
The IU Indianapolis Jaguar 5K is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Carroll Stadium on the IU Indianapolis campus (1001 W New York St, Indianapolis, IN 46202). The event offers two options: a timed 5K and a not-timed 5K. Registration opens March 1, 2026. Early bird pricing runs March 1 through June 30; regular pricing begins July 1, 2026. Listed entry fees are $30 for the timed event and $25 for the not-timed event.
IU Indianapolis organizes the race to raise funds for addiction recovery scholarships in observance of National Recovery Month. The campus reports prior fundraising of $11,434 for these scholarships and notes that the university has offered a Collegiate Recovery Community support program since 2014.
Logistics and additional information
Packet pickup is available Thursday, September 4 at the IU Indianapolis Campus Center (420 University Blvd) from 11:00am to 4:00pm, and Friday, September 5 at Runners Forum (620 Station Drive, Carmel) from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. All finishers in timed and untimed events receive a commemorative race medal; a race t-shirt is provided only to participants who register by the shirt cutoff date. The timed event will produce official results and prizes are planned for top male, top female, and top male and female youth finishers.
Parking is available on campus; parking fees are not included in registration. No refunds will be issued. The event may be canceled, delayed, or reformatted due to severe weather or other emergencies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
