Cornwall's Backyard Ultra uses the Backyard Ultra format. Runners complete a loop of 4.167 miles (approximately 6.7 kilometers) every hour, starting on the hour. There is no set finish time; the event continues until only one participant remains, who is declared the winner.

Course and Location

The event takes place in St. Eval, Cornwall. The loop course follows Cornish country lanes and includes a section of the Coast Path at Bedruthan Steps. The terrain is described as undulating.

Logistics

Camping is available for runners from Friday evening until the event concludes. Supporters and crew are encouraged to attend. For safety reasons, runners are advised not to drive after finishing. An essential kit list includes items such as high-visibility clothing, head torches, and backlights.
