Truro Half Marathon 2026
The Truro Half Marathon takes place on 13 September 2026 and is organised by Truro Running Club as part of the Cornwall GP series 2026 sponsored by Cornwall Glass. The event is an offical road race held under an ARC permit and is covered by ARC and UKA insurance.
The course is mostly on road with occasional off road sections. It begins with a loop of Truro city centre and continues out to Porth Kea, Playing Place and Cowlands. The route includes a few hills and is not expected to be a fast personal best course. The race starts from Lemon Quay and the finish and the initial city loop are on closed roads; most of the route runs on open but quiet rural roads.
Facilities and logistics include chip timing with results based on gun time, several water stations on course, and a bag drop at the entrance to the Pannier Market on Lemon Quay that is not locked and is used at runners own risk. The course is fully signposted and supported by about 50 marshals. Team prizes are awarded based on the first six runners home from each affiliated club.
Entries open on 18 May 2026 and close on 12 September 2026. Minimum age is 17. No on the day entries, no refunds. Places may be transferred via the SiEntries system or deferred to 2027 up to 11 September 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
