About the race
The Truro Half Marathon is a half marathon organised by Truro Running Club on Sunday 13 September 2026. The course is almost entirely on road, starting with a loop of central Truro and continuing out to Porth Kea, Playing Place and Cowlands. The route includes a few hills and is described as probably not a personal best course.
The event is chip timed, but official results are based on gun time. The race holds an ARC permit and is covered by ARC and UKA insurance. Team prizes are awarded based on the first six runners home from each affiliated club.
Practical arrangements include several water stations on course and a bag drop at the entrance to the Pannier Market on Lemon Quay, used at entrants' own risk. The course is fully signposted and supported by about 50 marshals. The first loop around the city centre and the finish are on closed roads; most of the route runs on open but quiet rural roads. There are no on-the-day entries.
Entry terms state that no refunds are offered. Places may be transferred via the SiEntries system without charge, or deferred for one year, both options available up to 23:59 on 11 September. Parking is available in and around Truro city centre, with most car parks within a five minute walk of Race HQ. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
