The Woods 2027

The Woods 2027 is a running event set on the North Coast using a four mile loop in Tehidy Woods. Runners may choose from four timed entry options: Rowan (3 hours), Ash (6 hours), Beech (9 hours) and Oak (12 hours). Results are decided by the maximum number of laps completed within each chosen duration.

The event is listed as a running (UKA) event and holds ARC permit number ARC/2. Entry categories include affiliated and non affiliated options, with fees listed by category; fees range from £32 to £64 plus service fees. Entries open on 30 April 2027.

Crew are allowed to assist participants, but support runners are not permitted on the course. Participants must be over 18 and accept a standard liability waiver that covers risks such as falls, contact with other participants, weather and trail conditions. Entry terms include refunds up to four weeks before the event and deferrals up to two weeks before the event; deferrals cannot be refunded at the subsequent race.

If an Amber or Red weather warning is issued by the Met Office the organisers will not allow the race to go ahead; the event may be rescheduled or, if rescheduling is not possible, held virtually.
