Event Overview
The Woods is a running event held at Tehidy Woods on the North Coast. Participants run laps of a 4-mile loop. There are four timed duration categories: Rowan (3 hours), Ash (6 hours), Beech (9 hours), and Oak (12 hours). The winner in each category is the runner who completes the most laps within the allocated time.
Registration and Categories
Registration is available for both affiliated and non-affiliated runners, with different entry fees for each category. The event holds an ARC permit (ARC/2). The organizer is Bys Vyken Events.
Event Policies
The event has specific policies on refunds and deferrals. Refunds are available up to four weeks before the start date. Entries can be deferred up to two weeks before the start, but deferrals cannot later be refunded.
Crews are permitted, but support runners are not allowed on the course. The event may be cancelled and rescheduled or made virtual if The Met Office issues an Amber or Red weather warning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
