The Woods 2027
The Woods 2027 is an endurance running event at Tehidy Woods, located just off the B3301 north coast road in Cornwall. The course is a loop of approximately four miles that competitors repeat for the duration of their chosen event.
Participants choose one of four timed options: Rowan (3 hours), Ash (6 hours), Beech (9 hours) and Oak (12 hours). The winner in each option is the person who completes the maximum number of laps within their chosen time. Crew support is permitted but support runners are not allowed on the course.
Entries are offered in affiliated and non affiliated categories with a range of entry fees shown for each category. The event holds ARC permit number ARC/2. Refunds are available up to four weeks before the event and deferrals are permitted up to two weeks before the event; deferrals cannot be refunded at a subsequent race.
Entrants must be medically able, properly trained and equipped for road, trail or coastal running and must be over 18 years of age. Participants are required to accept and follow race officials and marshals. If an Amber or Red weather warning is issued by the Met Office the event will not proceed in person; organisers will attempt to reschedule or otherwise hold the run virtually.
