The Indian Ladder Farms Spiked Apple 5k is scheduled for May 16, 2026, at Indian Ladder Farms in Altamont, New York. The primary distance is a 5K run/walk. A volunteer-and-run option and a virtual participation option are also available. The event is chip timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online.
Details
Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a bottle opener, a chip-timed race bib, a homemade cider donut, and a pour of cider. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib but not a cider glass or cider pour. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each category; categories are by decade (for example 10-19, 20-29, and so on, including 1-9 and 80 and over). Awards must be picked up on race day.
Packet pickup is available on race day only. The course map will be posted before the event. The race proceeds rain or shine; in the event of severe weather or lightning the start may be delayed and participants will be notified by email. Only service dogs are permitted.
