Course Information
The courses for the 5K and 10K take place on trails that wind through a forest with elevation changes. The 10K consists of two laps of the 5K route. The Half Marathon route combines a loop inside the park with an out-and-back section on the paved Fox River Trail; this combined loop is run twice. The course will close for final laps at 9:30 AM. A GPS tip advises using the park's street address for navigation, not just the park name.
Other Information
All participants receive a finisher "woodle" (a wooden medal). Overall and age group awards are given. A free post-race fresh fruit bar is provided. Walkers and ruckers are welcome in their respective events, though these divisions are not competitive. Race shirts are guaranteed for those registered by a specific date.
