I'm Thankful Four

I'm Thankful Four is a four mile road run that began in 2000. After a death in 2004 the run has been held on Thanksgiving morning in memory of that person.

All proceeds from the event go to a memorial foundation that provides scholarships to high school students. The event reports having awarded 39 scholarships totaling over $111,000.

The original and flagship run takes place in Nappanee, Indiana, at NorthWood High School and has drawn crowds of nearly 1,000 runners. The Colorado edition of the event is held virtually this year while the organizing family travels back to Indiana for Thanksgiving. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
