Race for Reading 5K - Tippecanoe
This event is a timed 5K run/walk held at Potawatomi Wildlife Park in Tippecanoe, IN. The course passes through parts of the park, including a wooded area and prairie. The event is held in conjunction with the park's fall fest and includes family activities, food, and a fall movie.

- Fun Run (under 1 mile, follows the fence row around the pavilion)
Awards are given to the top male and female finisher in each age group and to the top three overall finishers, who receive Amazon gift cards. The first three finishers in the Fun Run also receive awards and Amazon gift cards. Age groups are: 15 & under, 16-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, and 55+.
The published registration fees are $25 for the 5K and $15 for the Fun Run. Proceeds from the event are divided between the Young Authors Conference and the Books for Babies program. The Young Authors Conference brings a local author or illustrator to an area school for a presentation about the profession and invites local children to attend. Books for Babies provides two new books to newborns born in Bremen Hospital and shares information about early literacy with parents.
