Faith Mission Turkey Stampede
The Faith Mission Turkey Stampede is a community race held on Thursday, November 26, 2026 at Elkhart Health & Aquatics, 200 East Jackson Blvd, Elkhart, Indiana. The event offers timed road races and a walk, with race-day organization guided by pace signs.
Distances
- 10K timed entry
- 5K timed entry
- One Mile walk not timed
Packet pickup is offered on the days before the race at several local locations: Howard Park Meeting Rooms in South Bend, Goshen Brewery in Goshen, Fleet Feet Mishawaka, and at Elkhart Health & Aquatics. Additional race-morning pickup at the venue is available but organizers encourage earlier pickup. The venue entry for packet pickup is on the far right side of the building near the swimmer statue.
Timing and results use a chip start, so official times begin when a participant crosses the timing mat. Results are displayed on a large screen at the venue and are updated during the event; participants can opt in to receive text results. Finish-line video is available and linked from posted results.
All finishers receive a medal located just past the refreshment area. There is no formal awards ceremony; the top three male and female finishers in the 10K and 5K receive gravy boat prizes. Shirts are optional for an additional fee, with long sleeve and short sleeve choices. Organizers list volunteer opportunities including packet stuffing and race-day roles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
