IHS Group Charity 5K Run/Walk 2027
The IHS Group Charity 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for October 23, 2027 in Oyster Bay, NY. The event benefits Daughters of Mary, the Nassau Suffolk Autism Society of America, and the Life Center of Long Island. Registration is not yet open and a notification option is offered for when registration opens.
Amenities include a T-shirt, one free beer voucher, an after-party at Oyster Bay Brewing Co. with music, food, and drinks, live text and email results, free finish-line photos, and the option for a personalized bib when registered three weeks in advance.
Awards are presented to the top male and female overall, with a free entry into the next year’s 5K for top overall finishers, and to top male and female age-group finishers in these categories: 18 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50+.
Bib pickup and day-of registration are available near the start area at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park. A bib number is required for pickup and last-minute registrants receive a bib number by text shortly after registering. Public restrooms are available at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park and at Oyster Bay Brewery near the finish. Free parking is available at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park, with additional parking at the Oyster Bay LIRR station, Oyster Bay Brewery, and on local streets.
The previous edition, held September 12, 2026 in Oyster Bay, included a kids fun run and a 5K and was held rain or shine. Results and same-day finish-line photos are published online and shared by email and text. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
