Run for the Village
The 18th annual Run for the Village takes place on June 26, 2026 at 3600 Kamer Miller Road, New Albany, IN. The event includes multiple distance options for adults and children and raises funds for Eden Children's Village in Doma, Zimbabwe.

One hundred percent of the race profit each year goes to support the ministry of Eden Children's Village. The village provides spiritual, physical, medical, emotional, and educational assistance for children in a Christian family setting.
Event services include games and activities for children ages 5 to 12 for parents who participate, concessions and family activities before and after the races, mile splits for the 5K, and Gatorade for participants after the race. Awards for the 5K include a $100 gift certificate for overall male and female winners, age-group awards for the top male and female in each group, and awards for the first male and first female walkers to finish. Medals are given to all participants in the 2K and 600 meter kids runs.
Age groups for 5K awards are: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
