18th Annual ICC Sevathon - Baylands Park, Sunnyvale, CA
The event is a community running and wellness day organized by the India Community Center. It takes place on September 20, 2026, at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, California. Sevathon is named from the Sanskrit word seva meaning service and provides a platform for participants to select and support nonprofit organizations during registration.
In-person offerings include organized races and a yoga session. Course details for the main races:
- 10K : 6.22 mi, 65 ft elevation gain, flat paved loop along Guadalupe Slough and Baylands wetlands
- 5K : 3.11 mi, 32 ft elevation gain, flat paved loop along Guadalupe Slough
- 1K Tiny Trots : short kid-friendly loop within Baylands Park
- Virtual 10K and Virtual 5K options are also available
On-course features for in-person races include timed chips or timing mats, water stations, and medals awarded to overall and age group winners. The Tiny Trots program includes children's activities and finisher recognition. Virtual participants choose a single day between September 16 and September 20, 2026 to complete the distance, track it with a run-tracking app, and submit proof to receive event apparel and a finisher medal. T-shirt and bib pickup is available on the Friday and Saturday before the race and on race day; t-shirts for virtual participants may be collected at the ICC location in Milpitas by October 20, 2026.
