18th Annual ICC Sevathon 2026
Sevathon was created from the Sanskrit word "Seva" meaning service and is an India Community Center initiative that pairs participants with nonprofit organizations for fundraising. The event takes place on September 20, 2026 at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, California.
Participants can choose from several in-person and virtual distances:
- 10K - 6.22 mi, flat paved loop via Guadalupe Slough and Baylands wetlands
- 5K - 3.11 mi, flat paved loop along Guadalupe Slough
- 1K Tiny Trots - short park course for children
The 10K and 5K courses are described as flat and paved; the 10K has about 65 ft elevation gain and the 5K about 32 ft. Water stations are provided along the in-person routes. Timing mats or chips are used at the start and finish to record times, and medals are awarded to overall and age group winners.
Virtual 5K and 10K entries allow completion on a single day within a five day window from September 16 through September 20, 2026. Virtual participants must record distance and time with a run-tracking app and submit proof to receive a t-shirt and finisher medal. T-shirt and bib pick up is available on pre-event pick up days, on race day at the registration booth, and virtual participant pick up is available at the ICC location in Milpitas through October 20, 2026.
