ICC Sevathon - 18th Annual (2026)
The event takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, California. It is organized as an India Community Center initiative that pairs participant registration with fundraising support for nonprofit organizations.
Distance options include:
- 10K in-person and virtual
- 5K in-person and virtual
- Tiny Trots 1K for children
The in-person 10K route is a closed loop that starts and finishes at Baylands Park, follows the Guadalupe Slough trail, passes Calabazas Creek, and goes around the Baylands wetlands before returning through the park. The course is paved and nearly flat with an elevation gain of 65 feet. Water stations are positioned along the route. Timing chips will record finish times and medals are awarded to overall and age group winners.
The in-person 5K is a flat, paved loop along the Guadalupe Slough and park trails with an elevation gain of 32 feet. It is open to walkers and runners, includes water stations, and offers overall and age group medals.
The Tiny Trots 1K is a short, child-oriented walk/run held within the park paths with pre-start face painting and activities. All Tiny Trots participants receive a finisher recognition.
Virtual 5K and 10K participants may complete their chosen distance between September 16 and September 20, 2026 on a single day, track their run with a run-tracking app, and submit proof by email to receive a t-shirt and finisher medal. T-shirt pick up is available at the India Community Center location in Milpitas through October 20, 2026; t-shirts are not shipped. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
