I Beg Your Parton 5k Run

I Beg Your Parton is a themed 5k road run held at Hawthorne Park in Porter, Indiana (500 Ackerman Dr). The event is scheduled for December 13, 2026 and is organized by the Crazy Legs Race Series, which promotes pavement and non-pavement races in the Lake, Porter, and Laporte county area.

Part of the event proceeds will be donated to the Imagination Library affiliate serving Porter County. The affiliate reports a total of 4,236 children covered, with 159,328 children enrolled across Indiana. Local partner organizations named for the affiliate include the Porter County Public Library System, Westchester Public Library System, and the Porter County Community Foundation.

All participants receive a limited edition t-shirt while supplies last; when shirts are sold out, participants receive a winter hat and gloves instead. The Crazy Legs Race Series states an inclusion policy welcoming participation regardless of sexual orientation, biological sex, gender identity, or gender expression, and notes that transgender runners may register using the gender they identify with without providing documentation. The series also includes a land acknowledgement naming the Miami, Shawnee, Illinois Nations and Lenape (Delaware) among those who stewarded the area where races are held.
